The old adage of “...What you say is important, but how you come across when you say it matters even more”, continues to be at the center of helping our clients be highly persuasive.  As we enter this new ‘virtual’ environment, the ability to effectively influence others and be impactful is more important than ever before.  

It is becoming evident that we have over indexed on developing, appreciating, acknowledging, and rewarding "execution".  Nothing wrong with that as such.  Things get done by those who execute.  But the issue that this has brought about over the past three, perhaps four, decades is that execution has come at the expense of Leadership.  It has compromised the quality of leadership we desire or uphold as Great Leadership.

One of the hardest things in communication is trying to get others to hear what is being said. So we work on our skills to be engaging, coherent, clear, meaningful. While useful, this is invariably a compromised approach in being convincing, compelling, or persuasive.
